MODEL APPLICATION FOR ON THE RUNWAY 2020:
Want to be a model in our 2020 Fashion Show on September 12th? This year, in compliance with social distancing recommendations to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we are accepting virtual applications from prospective models. Here’s what you need to know and do to apply!
Models must be:
18 years of age or older (male, female or other)
Able to self- advocate.
Meaning you must apply on your own behalf, not excluding assistive technology or an interpreter if needed.
You must be able to follow complex directions on the spur of the moment and handle a busy, noisy environment.
New applicants must live in the Nashville/Middle Tennessee area.
If you are selected for the Runway Show you must be able to meet by appointment with your assigned designer to be fitted by appointment prior to and be available all day on September 12th.
We will consider anyone who fits these requirements. However, not everyone who tries out will be selected. We have a very limited number of openings for models, and we do our best to select a diverse range of candidates.
We are especially interested in seeing limb-different, visually-impaired, plus-sized and 00 sized or smaller, age 40 or older, LGBTQ, quadriplegic models and male wheelchair-dependent models.
Applications will be accepted via video or email. Videos are preferred. We ask that you submit them using WeTransfer.

One Head Shot and One Body Shot. Phone photos are fine. Please Note: if you are a professional model, standard industry comp cards will not be accepted in place of the measurement form.

Once you have completed the interview questions, download and complete the model measurement form. Here’s a detailed tutorial on how to properly take your measurements.
Please submit measurements via email as well as written applications. For video applications - which we prefer - please submit via WeTransfer. Here’s how to upload your video.
Applications submitted without all of the above requirements are incomplete and will not be considered.
Deadline for application submission is April 30th, 2020. Models will be selected and notified by May 15th, 2020. Acceptance letters and all further communications will be done exclusively in email. Any questions should also be submitted via email.
